Hello fellow food photographer. I am in no way an expert but these would be my suggestions :
- The food looks very tasty!

- You have use excellent lighting for this photo.

- I have these plates and love them, however I think finding a way to display food without a plate adds a more dynamic view for food photography. Try using wooden boards or napkins and other props. This can add layers and create a focus point.

-I like to think of food photography as suggesting a whole different life style, a kind of magical food focused lifestyle where food is so respected and loved that it is given somewhere special to live. Presented in all it's glory.

-The food does look great, and as primarily being a cook myself, I wish that food photography was simple a matter of cataloguing food from a view perspective. However, creating an "artistic photo" seems to make people enjoy looking at the food more than just a picture.

Your other work is great, this picture is a little flat is all. Keep it up though, I look forward to following your other food photography.

Looks good, you have nice color in the burger and fries.  My critique would be that any time you have a yellow food item, like the bun and fries, you have to be much more selective of your background colors.  The burger doesn't stand out as much as it could because there is so much yellow in the wood tones.  There is also a very large empty space in front of the burger, I would say you could have brought the burger forward on the plate more to fill that empty space.  A lot of food photography is fooling the eye into looking where you want it to.  I have seen some of your other work and it looks great!

Thanks :D

Yea i see what you mean, i would have liked to have another background tbh, it would have given the burger more focus.
And tbh i should not have used a plate at all but instead used a wooden platter or something :)
Thanks again!

It looks great, but somehow the burger looks too "clean and tidied up" and lacks the typical juicyness somehow.

Thanks :)
Yes i know what u mean, i think i need abit more sauce thingys on it.
Might also be cause of the lack of juicy meat.
